Castaway Bar & Grill

Castaway Bar & Grill anchors Ocean Beach's nightlife on Fire Island with island-style cuisine and a deck that turns into a party after dark. The raw bar shines during daily Clam Jam happy hour, while the full menu runs from pork and kimchi dumplings to Asian glazed salmon. DJs and live music take over the outdoor space most nights, and the bar stays open until 4 AM—rare for this barrier island community. It's more restaurant-bar hybrid than pure nightlife spot, but in a car-free beach town, it's where locals and weekenders end up after sunset.
